This educational how-to book was written with the model horse artist in mind, with an emphasis on how to use pastels when creating realistic finish work. Including step-by-step pastel tutorials, the book also has a wide variety of other tutorials from prepping to simple resculpting to photographing and selling you work. Packed full of information! The book is 148 pgs, full color and spiral bound with a clear vinyl front cover, and vinyl back cover. Included with the book will be a companion CD of reference photos. There are examples of hooves, eyes, mare, stallion and gelding genitalia, muzzles, ears, hair patterns, close-ups of paint patterns, white markings and more. Almost 200 reference photos alone on the CD! All photos within the book are also included on the CD for those who might need a larger photograph.
